Something Special

About bringing your boys back home. They are spoiled. Rotten. All weekend long. They get things that normally they wouldn't get but saying no to a Papa Tom, a Grandma Sara, a Papa Richard, a Grandma Dorothy or even an uncle is not an easy thing to do and frankly I just sit back and allow. They don't get to see them all that often so if it takes a little Caffeine Free Pepsi or a bag full of M&Ms to win Kaden over, then so be it.

We drag every toy from upstairs, in the closet or under the stairs out and never even think about putting them away because he knows that someone else will gladly make sure they find their home before bedtime. And thanks to DVD players in vehicles, Kaden gets to play his own version of "tractor tipping" not worrying about who's path he is blocking.

We always get the best visitors in the world. This time, Uncle Zack and Aunt Lindsey stop by to have a little dinner and to play with the boys. We play hide and seek, Kaden is much better at the seeking than the hiding. We have dance parties and Wheel of Fortune contests. We stay up past our bedtime and get to enjoy a late night snack all while watching Mizzou basketball.

and finally we crash…

It was a weekend filled with baby giggles, high pitch screams, grandmas and grandpas and the only thing that could have made this family filled weekend better was seeing the Siebert-Hamm crew. I can't wait to sit back and watch more of the same during Christmas.
